Ed’s Pro tip of the week: With Thanksgiving here, make sure you’re kind to your garbage disposer to help prevent a dinner disaster. Here are some quick “do’s & don’ts”. Do grind hard food items like chicken bones and olive pits. Don’t grind stringy items like corn husks or celery. Also run plenty of cold water when grinding, not hot water. To help remove strong odors in your disposer, grind up a lemon. Now, that’s what Ed calls some real “sour power”!
